Rai Rai Ken: Crunchy Roll

It is always a hard decision what to order whenever we dine in a Japanese restaurant (Yeah, we never get tired of it!). Sometimes I feel like having a bowl of ramen or a bento set or a plate of maki. My instincts went for maki this time. Crunchy Roll Maki.

Far by one of the best maki I ever had! It's not my first time to try this dish (probably the 128598341075383th time already). There's just something about it that is worth coming back for.

The maki had cold crab stick and mango strips all wrapped around a sheet of seaweed and covered with Japanese rice. And of course, it wouldn't be called Crunchy Roll without the crunchy bits of tempura flakes. Topped with a small piece of sashimi and tobiko. The sauce on the sushi and plate gives it a unique taste in each maki slice. I always scrape off all of the sauce because it is very flavourful.
